Early Mornings at Magic Kingdom

Since rope drop changed to the Castle Stage and away from the train station, the time Disney allow people into Magic Kingdom has become earlier.
When we heard about this, I knew it was a must and although far from being the first people there, it was still a lot quieter and a great way to start the day.

As well as the table service restaurants that can be booked in advance, you can also pick up breakfast in a few other places along Main Street. Early mornings at Magic Kingdom with Mickey waffles on the hub grass....hello best day ever.

Arriving at 8am [an hour before opening time] plenty of people had already made their way through the gates and into a slightly quieter Magic Kingdom. Although none of the lands are open, Main Street and the castle area were perfect to explore with out feeling rushed to get on the first ride or queue to meet your favrouite character.
A lot of people made their way to the roped off land areas, hoping to be the first on Mine Train no doubt! Plenty were ready at the stage, getting excited to have Mickey welcome them. Sam and I decided food was priority, and off we went to fill our bellies.

Sam decided on Starbucks, having a great selection of coffee [obviously] with some great pastry and breakfast snacks too. I however went down to the Ice Cream shop and found Mickey Waffles and bacon!!
Plaza Ice Cream Parlour were servicing ice cream early in the morning too, which I loved seeing people ear- only at Disney can you have Ice Cream for breakfast! The waffles were freshly made and the bacon and strawberries were perfect too.

Slowly heading towards the stage to see Mickey, whilst enjoying the emptiness of the park and taking photos as we went.

I can't wait for early mornings at Magic Kingdom again, it was a great thing to do on our holiday ♥
